QA Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring a QA Engineer to establish and own the quality assurance function across our client projects and internal products. You will design and execute test strategies, build automated test suites, and act as the final gatekeeper before every production release. You have a sharp eye for edge cases, love breaking things in controlled ways, and care deeply about the end-user experience.

Tech Stack

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional QA or software testing experience.
• Experience writing automated E2E tests using Playwright or Cypress.
• Solid understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman — ability to test REST and GraphQL APIs thoroughly.
• Comfortable reading JavaScript/TypeScript code to understand application logic and write test scripts.
• Experience setting up automated test runs in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Strong documentation skills for writing clear, reproducible bug reports.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the test strategy for each product: unit, integration, E2E, and exploratory testing.
• Build and maintain automated test suites that run on every pull request in GitHub Actions.
• Perform comprehensive API testing across all backend endpoints (REST and GraphQL).
• Execute regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing before every production release.
• Document bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and priority classification.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability of code and catch issues early in development cycles.
• Conduct performance and load testing to identify system bottlenecks before they reach production.
